The Home-Based Support Services (HBS) program is available for both children and adults and is funded, like other programs, through a Medicaid Waiver.  Individuals are provided with a monthly allotment they can use to purchase needed services and supports that allow them to continue living in the family residence.  Services are selected by the individual and/or family to meet their needs and may include participation in Community Day Services, a variety of therapies, counseling, home or vehicle modifications, or personal support hours.  We provide self-directed assistance for this program if the individual chooses this service.  All services provided must be for the direct benefit of the individual.
